Update on September 2020

Namaste everyone,

Beginning of March 2020, our founder Lena went for a short trip to Nepal to check on Lucky’s feet and health. The plan was to be there for about three weeks.
But… because of Covid19, she is still there in September!
As you know, Lena lives in Thailand but the country is still closed to foreigners and not allowing anyone without citizenship to return. We hope in the next few weeks that she will be able to fly back home to Chiang Mai and be reunited with her beloved dog Lucky.

ELEPHANT FOOT TRIMMING

For the past three years in Nepal, Association Moey has not only provided Lucky Kali the better life she deserves, but also provided free elephant foot care to the elephants in Sauraha, where more than 60 privately owned, working elephants reside. The Corona virus lockdown has given them a break from giving rides and also a great opportunity for us to have easier access to their shelters and feet.
