Association Moey is a Swiss non-profit organization established in 2013 by Lena Quénard in memory of Moey, with the mission to help captive elephants in Asia.
In Nepal, we lead by example, providing free foot care, creating ethical programs “100% hands off “ and offer ongoing education to the mahouts with access to positive reinforcement training.
We help improve the working elephant’s daily lives, whether it is by renewing their shelter, delivering healthy food or assisting with options for better care.
Our Elephant Sanctuary in Chitwan, Nepal
We are located in Sauraha, Nepal, just outside of Chitwan National Park.
Opened in 2024, we are currently home to two beautiful retired elephants, Lucky, with the hope of retiring and welcoming more elephants in the future. We are always looking for support, big and small!
