Foot Trimming Workshop with Elephant Aid International

Thank you to all who donated to the Elephant Foot Care Workshop. Our founder is now an Elephant Aid International Foot Trimming Graduate.

CAROL BUCKLEY RETURNS TO NEPAL TO TEACH AN URGENTLY NEEDED WORKSHOP

We are excited to annnounce that our founder Lena Quénard has an opportunity this February to upgrade her foot care training with renowned elephant expert Carol Buckley of Elephant Aid International. This two-week workshop begins February 15, costing $1,500 (including equipment).

Carol has been both teacher and mentor to Lena for several years and since January 2016 has been instructing her how to care for elephants’ feet.

This additional training will give Lena extra skills to independently work with Lucky Kali and other elephants in Nepal, where a few minutes of foot trimming can ease their pain and give some comfort to their hard-working feet.

Presently, Association Moey is putting all monies recently raised into Lucky Kali’s care and needs, so at this time we are asking for your help to fund this important and essential training.  Any new donations are welcome, no matter how small!

We appreciate your ongoing support of our mission to make the lives of captive elephants a little better.

Thank you and Namaste!
